SRINAGAR, May 31: Samina Rasool emerged winner in Annual College Road Race (Girls) organized by Sports Board of S P College today from Nehru Park to Botanical Garden Srinagar.
As many as 35 students participated in the race flagged off by the Principal of the College, Dr. Yaseen Ahmad Shah Shaista.
Saima Rasool, Nighat Yousuf and Syed Rabia bagged first, second and third positions respectively.
The Principal in his brief speech highlighted the importance of curricular and extra-curricular activities and advised the students to take part in the forthcoming Intra, Inter College and other activities.
Later, the Principal gave away trophies and track suites among the first three winners. In addition, all the student participants were presented medals for their participation in the event. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the teaching and non-teaching staff for extending their cooperation in making the event smooth and successful.
