SAMBA, Aug 24: Samba zone won Under-19 Kabaddi and Kho-Kho titles, while Ghagwal zone claimed the Volleyball title in the Inter Zone District Level Under-19 Girls Competition, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, here today.
The Tournament is being held under the patronage of Jehangir Mir, DG Sports and under the supervision of Subash Chander Bharadwaj, DYSSO Samba.
Earlier, in Kabaddi final, Samba Zone defeated Ramgarh Zone by 17 Points, while Volleyball final, Ghagwal Zone drubbed Ramgarh Zone by 2-0 sets and in Kho-Kho final, Samba Zone thrashed Ramgarh Zone by 18 points.
Prominent among others present on the opening ceremony were Rakesh Verma, B D Sharma, Vijay Singh Slathia, Pardeep Singh and Raghubir Singh.
The matches were officiated by Romesh Mishra, Dildar Singh, Anirudh Singh Slathia, Subash Sharma, Kulbir Singh, Raj Singh Chib, Purab Chander, Keshav Singh, Zorawar Singh Sambyal, Sudesh Kumari, Asha Rani, Meenakshi Sambyal, Shashi Sambyal, Sandeep Singh, Raj Kumar, Bhopinder Singh, Krishan Kumar and Vijay Kumar.
