JAMMU, Jan 17: Another young lifter from district Samba, Naman Singh brought laurels to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, winning Silver medal in Weightlifting in the National School Games held at Karnool in Andhra Pradesh.
Son of Sudhir Singh, Naman contested in the 89 kg weight category in under-17 age group this finished second.
Meanwhile, the Jammu and Kashmir Weightlifting Associa-tion congratulated Naman and complimented his parents for inspiring him towards the sports.
