Samarjot wins Gold medals in Roller Skating

JAMMU, Sept 8: Current top-seeded player in the country Samarjot Singh brought laurels to J&K UT by winning three Gold medals in Roller Skates (Speed) Road Races in under 17 years category in 3rd Ranking Championship, held recently at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
The ace skater Samarjot, who has been designated national champion after his phenomenal performance in the national event at Blue City-Jodhpur was honoured by his School Principal Balkaran Singh for his outstanding performance in the national tourney and on his elevation as top-seeded skater of the country.
It is pertinent to mention here that Samarjot Singh, son of Satvir Singh and Tajinder Kour, resident of Sujadpur, Miran Sahib is studying in New National Higher Secondary School, Miran Sahib.
Samarjot has also won three Gold medals in First India Skate Roller Games-2022, which were held in Mohali Punjab in April, and two Gold and one Silver medals in Second national Ranking Championship held in June in Raipur Chhattisgarh.
