JAMMU, Mar 24: Saksham Bhatia of BSF Senior Secondary School Jammu clinched gold in the State Senior, Junior and Sub Junior Championship for boys and girls, which got underway at MA Stadium, here today.
Dr Ashutosh Sharma, General Secretary J&K Olympic Association inaugurated the Championship in an impressive and well attended function.
Around 100 boxers drawn from the districts of Jammu, Poonch, Rajouri, Srinagar and Leh districts participated in the Championship.
The boxers vied for the top honours in around 50 bouts held in different categories today.
