JAMMU, Jan 24: Sainik Colony Football Club and Novelty Football Club registered wins over their rivals in the 2nd Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Memorial Football Tournament, being played at Parade ground, here.
In the first match, Sainik Colony defeated Param FC by a solitary goal (1-0) and the goal was scored by Ishan in the 39th minute.
In another match, Novelty FC got the better of Churchill Brothers by three goals to one (3-1). Adil Shahid scored the first hat-trick, netting goals in 7th, 22nd and 43rd minutes. For Churchill Brothers, Rocky was the goal scorer in 14th minute.
The matches were officiated by Suresh Gupta, Vijay Kumar, Hilal, Dheeraj Menia, Sanjay and Dil Bahadur.
The matches among others were witnessed by Rakesh Khanna, Mohan Lal and Prem Singh.
In tomorrow’s fixture, Young Hero’s will take on NGR, Vijay Club will lock horns with Christian Star and Mussa Club will face Anantnag Titan.
