JAMMU, Dec 15: Sainik Colony Football Club beat Christian Junior Football Club by 5-0 goals while JK Bank Academy trounced Young Rovers Football Club by 4-1 goals (Tie-breaker) in the ongoing 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football Tournament-2020, being played at GGM Science College Football Ground, here today.
In first match, the Sainik Colony FC defeated Christian Junior FC by 5-0 goals wherein Amritpal Singh netted three goals at 13th, 18th and 68th minutes of the game while Pardeep scored two goals at 41st and 54th minutes of the game.
Mohit, Rinku Gill, Ajay Lakha, Romesh Kumar and Mohinder Kalsi were the referees of the matches.
Thomas Khokhar (secretary PCC) along with Narinder Gupta (former member J&K Sports Council), Yusaf Don (organizing secretary), Amarjeet Singh (Bawa Travels) were the chief guests of the match, whereas, David Masih, Featus Sotra (general secretary), Moon Stephen, Mohan Lal, Raju Khokhar, Rajesh Sumbria, Harbans Lal and Sam Paul were the chief guests of the 2nd match.
