JAMMU, Nov 25: Saini Cricket Club Gole registered 5-wicket victory over YKCC Bishnah to advance into the next round of the 2nd Anti Drug Cricket Tournament at Reed Rose Cricket Stadium, Arnia today.
Earlier, put into bat, YKCC scored 145 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Varun scored 44 off 29 balls with one boundary and two sixes, while Ghajini contributed quick-fire 31 off 16 balls including 2 fours and an equal number of sixes. For Saini Club, Rahul and Karan took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Saini Club, chased the required target easily by losing 5 wickets, thus won the match by 5 wickets. Abhishek and Prince were the main contributors with 37 and 36 runs respectively. Raj Kumar captured 3 wickets by conceding 11 runs in his 3 overs, while Sandeep claimed 2 wickets in 4 overs giving away 17 runs.
