PULWAMA, Nov 25: Fayaz Ahmed has been elected president of District Football Association (DFA), Pulwama in the election meeting held under the supervision of the delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA) headed by SA Hameed, general secretary, BA Shah, resident secretary and Fayaz Ahmad Sofi, resident treasurer.
Meanwhile, Wajahat Hussain Mir was nominated as District secretary, while Zahid Shafi Mir was named as District treasurer.
According to a handout issued here the dates for the elections to District Football Associations of Kashmir valley have been revised, with election of District Ganderbal on November 29, 2012, District Budgam on November 30, 2012 and District Srinagar on December 2, 2012.
