Sai Cricket Club wins title trophy

JAMMU, Oct 8: Sai Cricket Club beat Safran Cricket Club by 57 runs in the final and lifted the title trophy of Kashmiri Pandit Premier League (KPCL), organised by Safran Cricket Club in collaboration with 3M Home Water Solutions at KC Sports Club, here today.
Batting first, Sai Cricket Club scored 148 runs by losing 7 wickets in stipulated 20 overs whereas the opponent team- Safran Cricket Club bundled out at 91 runs. Man of the Match was awarded to Chander Mohan for his outstanding performance with bat.
Rohan Koul of Safran CC was adjudged as the Man of the Series and Best Batsman of the tournament while Surinder Raina of Shiva Bhagwati Vanquisher was declared as the Best Bowler and Sanchit Dass was adjudged as the Best Fielder of the tournament.
KK Khosa, president Kashmiri Pandit Sabha and Ashender Koul, JKCA selector and former BCCI member were the chief guests of the final match. The chief guests presented winning and runner-up trophies to the winning and runner-up teams along with Rs 25000 and 10000 respectively.
Sugeeta Kisroo, Director Deepansh Electro Venture (3M Home Water Solutions), Balveer Singh of S&S Telecom, Deepak Khanna, Director Deepak Woman Development Society, Pankaj Bhawani, President Martand KP Brigade Charitable Trust, Aditya Tickoo, Director Aditya Pharmaceuticals, Jai Mantoo, Director Jai Raj Studios, Rahul Koul President BJYM KDD, Kanwal Peshin of Vomedh Rangmanch, Anil Koul Chingari, RC Dhar and Satish Khoda were the guests of honour.
The tournament was mentored by Sandeep Kisroo whereas Ajay Peshin acted as the match referee of the entire tournament and Ishan Dhar and Arun Zalpuri acted as Head Umpire and Head Scorer of the tournament.
