Sahil wins gold in AIC Karate C’ship

JAMMU, Aug 14: Sahil Singh won gold in the 8th All India Independence Cup Karate Championship held at Haridwar in Uttrakhand on the eve of Independence Day.
The Championship was organized by Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do India, under the banner of All India Karate Do Federation (AIKF).
The team was led by Ambedkar Gupta, president Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate J&K.
Sahil Singh won gold in Individual Kumite (Fight) in +70 kg event, while Susham Sharma bagged silver and Utkarsh Khajuria won bronze medal in their respective age categories.
The other participants included Avril Attri, Sahil Sharma, Sumit Sharma, Abid Hussain, Antriksh Gupta, Sparsh Bhat and Prakhar Jyoti.
