JAMMU, Mar 29: Sahara Special School for differently abled celebrated annual day with great pomp and show.
The annual day function was inaugurated by the chief guest Raman Bhalla, Minister for Housing, Horticulture and Culture in presence of Rt Rev Dr Peter Celestine, Bishop of Jammu-Srinagar, Shubh Chandra Varma, Ex-Corporator, Ward number 52, who were guests of honor on the occasion.
Fr George, Director, SAHARA presented the annual report and highlighted the achievements of the students in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The programme started with a prayer song by the children of the special school.
The function was marked with various dynamic and vibrant cultural programmes by the special children and it was well appreciated by the audience.
During his address Raman Bhalla appreciated Sahara for all its noble efforts and for being a supporting hand to the differently abled children in the locality.
He also wished all success to the Director and staff members of the institutions and assured all support for its future endeavors.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Fr Shijo, Asstt Director.
