KC KPL Veteran Cup Tourney

JAMMU, Jan 31: Safran Cricket Club (Safran CC) beat APCC by six wickets in the ongoing KC KPL Veteran Cup tournament, being played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
APCC won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting first, APCC scored 88 runs by losing all wickets in 15.3 overs. Vinod made 21 runs, whereas Surender and Turki contributed 13 and 12 runs respectively. From bowling side, Vicky Raina and Vinod took three wickets each by conceding 23 runs and 15 runs, whereas Arun Zalpuri and Amit bagged two and one wickets respectively.
In reply, Safran chased the target by losing only four wickets in 14.3 overs. Vicky Raina made brilliant 50 in just 36 balls whereas Veeraj remained not out on eight runs. From bowling side, Daleep Dhar, Vikas Raina, Minto and Turki clinched one wicket each. Vicky Raina was declared as man of the match for his all round performance who took three wickets and made half century.
