Sacred Heart College of Education organizes ‘Display Your Talent’

JAMMU, Dec 8: A colourful programme ‘Display Your Talent’ was organized by Sacred Heart College of Education Paloura, Jammu in which different regional themes were exhibited by the students of the college.
Dr GQ Sheikh, OSD to Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment was the chief guest who stressed upon organizing such events which enable the teachers to know the implicit talent of the students.
Dr Sheikh said that student is the real treasure of the nation if chiselled in the desired direction may prove a good citizen beneficial for the upliftment of the society.
Hari Singh Chib in his speech laid emphasis on participating in extra-curricular activities, which refresh the mind and keep one away from the boredom.
Uday Bhanu Chib, MD of the college while thanking the guests, apprised of future plans for organizing such events to make the college hub of multidimensional activities including academics.
Dr KK Tiwari Principal of the college while concluding the function thanked guests including Sheikh Feroz Ahmad Chairman of Maxwell Educational Trust Pulwama who was the guest of honour in the event.
Sonakshi Singh and Sunil Kumar conducted the proceedings in a lucid manner.
The function began with Saraswati Vandana followed by various activities like Dogri dance, Punjabi dance and Kathak dances  by various students of the college. Poetry of Narotam, Shishu Parihar and Vir Bahadur Singh brought colours of different situations. Shiv Tandav was also performed by Bhagwan Das and Pooja. In the end refreshment was given to the students.
Prof Raj Kumari Bakshi presented vote of thanks to the dignitaries.
