JAMMU, May 3: Air Force Station Jammu organized talent hunt show “Jammu Got Talent”, which concluded at the Station Auditorium here.
The show was organized to foster the competitiveness spirit and development of soft skills in the personnel and families of Air Force Station Jammu and the students of Air Force School, Jammu.
The maiden edition was organized at the Station from April 2, 2015 to May 2, 2015.
The show was organized in two phases. The first phase covered the auditions in which a total of 206 candidates registered and competed for a position in the finals.
The candidates were placed in three categories viz. 3-10 years category, 11-18 years category and above 19 years category.
For the second phase, a total of 12 participants in the three age categories made the final list for which the event was conducted yesterday.
The finals commenced with the traditional lightning of the ceremonial lamp by Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu, Air Commodore Ashutosh Lal.
The finalists put their heart and soul in their performance. Their competitiveness and enthusiasm were well appreciated by the audience.
The competition was judged by professionals in the field of Music, Dance and Theatre.
The programme culminated with the prize distribution ceremony and speech by the chief guest. In 3 to 10 years age category, Master Bhavik was adjudged the winner, while in 11 to 18 years category, Prasansha emerged as winner and in 19 years and above category, Priya Singh was adjudged as the winner.
The Air Officer Commanding in his concluding address appreciated the exceptional caliber of the performers encouraging them to hone their talent and skill further. He also lauded the efforts put in by the Station Music Club to make the programme a big success.
