POONCH, Apr 9: A ‘Run for Democracy’ was organised today under the SVEEP campaign from DC office Chowk to SK bridge here.
District Development Commissioner Rahul Yadav also took part in the Run. He was accompanied by officers of Civil Administration and Police, besides students of different schools and other educational institutions.
The main motto of the Run was to sensitise people about the importance of casting their vote.
While speaking on the occasion DDC Poonch urged upon the students to spread awareness among all regarding their right to vote and ensure that a large number of people take part in the voting.
