BHADERWAH, Oct 5: Continuing its efforts to uplift local youth of the area by providing an opportunity to showcase their talent and acquire a level of self-confidence, Rashtriya Rifles organised a Volleyball Championship at Sitengal, here today.
8 teams participated in the tournament, which included Higher Secondary School (Sitengal), Sitengal – B, Bhadrot and Sitengal – C, in Pool ‘A’, and Sitengal – A, Higher Secondary School (Bhaderwah), Chekka and Army Team in the Pool-B.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Mohd Ashraf Butt Sarpanch and Kailash Kumar lecturer.
Chekka team lifted the title trophy by trouncing Army team.
