DODA, July 8: A debate competition on the topic “Students and Politics” was organized by Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Battalion at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), here today.
16 students drawn from 8 schools of the district participated in the competition.
Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Doda was the chief guest on the occasion, while Nek Ram, Principal Boys Higher Secondary School was the guest of honour.
Principals of various schools alongwith over 400 students attended the event.
Commanding Officer, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, Doda distributed trophies and certificate of participation to the students at the end of the event and exhorted them to excel in their endeavors and inculcate the spirit of National Integration and unity.
First position was claimed by Madeeha Tabassum of Green Model Higher Secondary school, Doda, second position went to Amir Sohail of Boys Higher Secondary School, Doda, while the third position was bagged by Tamanna Katoch of Higher Secondary School, Khellani.
