JAMMU, Sept 25: The events of Poster-Making and Clay-Modeling were held on the third day of “Display Your Talent” 2013-14 competition, organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, here.
In the Poster-Making Competition, the first prize was won by Roshni Devi from Government Degree College Reasi, the second prizes was bagged by Rimpla Kumari from the Department of Commerce and third prize went to Bharti Sharma from the Department of Mathematics, University of Jammu, while the certificates of merit were awarded to Vaneeka Gupta form the IMFA and Anjuman Ayoub from Government Women College Parade.
Prof Shailendra Singh distributed the certificates of participation and prizes among the winners. Dr Sarika Manhas, Teacher Incharge, apprised the participants about the rules and regulations of the event and supervised the competition.
In the Clay-Modeling Competition, the topics were Bull Fighting, By Pond and Celebration of any Festival.
The first prize was won by Rimpla Kumari Department of Commerce, the second prize was claimed by Nitin Dubey of Government MAM College and the third prize went to Anjuman Ayoub of Government College for Women, Parade, while the certificates of merit were awarded to Aashima Sharma, Institute of Music and Fine Arts and Raghav Dev Jamwal, Governemnt MAM College, Jammu.
The adjudicators of the event were Ganesh Sharma, Vikas Dogra and Brij Pal Anand, while Prof NK Tripathi, Dean Students Welfare presided over the function.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Dr Priyanka Bhau distributed the certificates of participation and prizes among the winners.
The programme was managed by Kulbushan Thakur, Surinder Singh Bhalla, Apoorva Jamwal , Secretary Students Cultural Council, Anney Mattoo, Rahul Sharma and Rakesh Kumar.
