SRINAGAR, Oct 27: Day and Night Roller Skating District Championship, organised by District Association Srinagar under the aegis of J&K Roller Skating Association, culminated at Radpora Skating Rink, here today.
The chief guest of the event was Additional Commissioner Kashmir, Qazi Sarwar and guest of honour was Joint Director Budget, Shafaat Yehya, while Kamal Anand, Shafat Ahmed along with 200 spectators witnessed the spectacular performance of the competitors under flood lights.
In 1000mtrs under-5, Mohd Zaem Kak stood first, while Aalina Asif, Anaya Shafaat and Mausha Waseem stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in girls category, in under 5-7 boys, Mohd Hadi (1st), Amaan Hanief (2nd) and Mohd Zain (3rd), in girls category, Hafsa Bin-ti Umer (Gold), in under-7-9 boys, Mohd Mutteeb Sheikh (1st), Ibrahim (2nd) & Arhaam (3rd), in girls: Hooriya Showkat (1st) and Zunaira Shah (2nd), in under 9-11 boys, Mohd Dayaan, Mohd Adeeb Sheikh and Ahmad Faraz remained 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively and in girls category, Qurat (1st), Asifa Asif (2nd) & Aleena (3rd).
In under 11-14 boys, Mohd Basir (1st), Numaan (2nd) & Momin (3rd), in girls, Zinab (1st), Barira Showkat (2nd) & Nimra (3rd), in under 14-17 boys, Mohd Salch Matoo (1st), Inayat Iqbal (2nd) & Zhaib Zahoor (3rd), in senior girls, Nahal Zahra (1st), Tabish (2nd) and Zanka Jan (3rd) and in senior boys, Sheikh Umer (1st),.
In the best skater race in senior, Salman stood 1st, Numan stood 1st in best skater race junior and Muteeb remained (1st) in best skater race sub junior.
