RM Public School celebrates 1st Annual Day

JAMMU, Jan 24: RM Public School celebrated its 1st Annual Day with great zeal and zest at Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, here today.
The function was dedicated to the brave Indian soldiers. Former Minister, Raman Bhalla was the chief guest on the occasion, while Principal GCW Gandhi Nagar presided over the function and eminent educationist I D Soni was the guest of honour.
School Chairman, Rameshwar Singh Mengi and Trustee Reeta Mengi welcomed the dignitaries on the occasion.
The programme began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and other guests.
Various cultural programmes were presented by the students which enthralled the audience.
The students presented short play in English about National Integration, Mute Dance and Welcome Dance.
Earlier, Mr Mengi presented welcome address, while School Principal, Ravinder Kour presented annual report.
The dignitaries distributed trophies and medals among the meritorious students on the occasion.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Reeta Mengi.
