JAMMU, Dec 15: Rising Star defeated Shehzad XI by 36 runs, whereas Lateef Cricket Club trounced Kapil Cricket Club by one wicket in Christmas Gold Cup-2020, organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association, here today.
In first match, Zakir Hussain of Rising Star was declared as man of the match for his all-round performance who made 31 runs and bagged three wickets whereas in 2nd match, Taheer made knock 68 runs and was declared as man of the match.
Rubia Akhtar Minority BJP Morcha spokesperson, Karuna Chhetri district vice president, Saleem and Mushtaq were chief guests of the event.
The matches were officiated by Dayal Singh and Sebastian Sachin.
