JAMMU, July 13: Four days Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp of KVS Bharat Scouts and Guides (District East) Jammu Region, was inaugurated in the premises of K V Bantalab, here today.
94 Scouts, 67 Guides and 17 Escort teachers from 10 different Vidyalayas of KVS participated in the event.
D R Meena (AC-KVS-JR) was the chief guest on the occasion, while C R Bhagat (Principal-K.V Damana) was the guest of honour.
The chief guest and the other dignitaries were welcomed in the ceremonial way in the form of Colour Party and Guard of Honour by the Scouts and Guides.
After the lighting of lamp and flag hoisting ceremony, V Santhosh Kumar, the School  Principal threw light on the purpose and significance of the camp.
A bonanza of colourful events was presented by the tiny tots of the Vidyalaya in the midst of claps and yells of the Scouts, Guides and others present in the hall.
Anju Jamwal, ALT(G), Head Examiner and LOC(G) and Divisional Organizing Commissioner KVS-RO, Jammu briefed the participants on the camp rules, daily routine and the general instructions.
She also introduced with other Divisional Training Commissioner Rajinder Badkulia-ALT (S) and 6 other KVS examiners and assistant examiners.
