REASI, May 22: District Reasi and district Udhampur have qualified for the finals of the State Level Inter-Dstrict Kho-Kho Girls Championship, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at GHSS, here.
Earlier, in the first semifinal, Udhampur defeated Jammu by (13-02), while in the second semifinal, Reasi outplayed Doda by one innings and 3 points in an easy contest. For Reasi, Riya Manhas, Chander Kala and Roshni Sharma displayed superb skills to dominate the contest.
Megha Boagia, Assistant Director Planning and Jibtesh Singh, Assistant Treasury Officer were the special guests. P D Sharma, Principal, GHSS Reasi and Pritam Sharma, Lecturer were also present to boost the morale of the players.
The Tournament was held under the patronage of Navin Agarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports and conducted under the overall supervision of Dr S S Chib, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Reasi.
The matches were officiated by Narayan Singh, Ajmer Singh. Tarseem Lal, Romesh Kumar, Sanjeev Kumar, Ajay Billa, Ram Asra, Saroj Bala and Ashoka Devi.
The final match will be played between Reasi and Udhampur at the same venue tomorrow.
