JAMMU, Dec 14: In the 3rd league match of Dr. Vidushi Kapahi memorial 50 over cricket league played at Country Cricket Academy grounds Gharota Jammu, between Reasi Eleven and KC International School, Reasi Eleven emerged victorious.
Reasi Eleven won the toss and elected to bat first. Batting first, they scored 196 runs in 40 overs with their captain Kapil scoring (31), Aamir (30) and Vikas (28).
From the KC International side, Jaswinder was the pick of the bowlers who scalped 3 wickets. Mohim, Kanav, Jagpreet, Yogan and Vansh took one wicket each.
While chasing the target, KC International School manged to score 147 runs in 32 overs to lose the match by 49 runs. Kanav contributed 28 runs, while Nandi scored 22. From the Reasi XI side Rahat got 3 wickets, while Sahil, Neeraj, Rubal and Kapil took one each.
Shugal Sharma and Sahil Sharma were the umpires in today’s match.
The tournament is being conducted under the supervision and guidance of Vivek Sharma, Former Ranji Trophy player.
