REASI, Apr 12: Reasi Challengers and Sky Rangers Dharamshala sailed into the next level of Reasi Chenab Premier League (RCPL), being played at Sports Stadium, here today.
Reasi Challengers beat Reasi Royals by 5 wickets.
Batting first, Reasi Royals scored a total of 132 runs in 20 overs. Sidharth Kaul scored 22 runs, Shoaib and Kanhiya made 22 and 32 runs respectively. From the bowling side, Sunil Dagar clinched 5 wickets, while Salman took 2 wickets and Ashu, Chander Paul and Ankush got 1 wicket each.
In reply, Reasi Challengers chased the set target in 18.1 overs for the loss of 5 wickets wherein Owais scored 13 runs, whereas Chander Paul made 34 unbeaten runs and Satyam scored 47 runs. From the bowling side, Vishal and Yaseen took 2 wickets each. Sunil Dagar was awarded with man of the match for his outstanding performance.
The 2nd match was played between Rajouri Warriors and Sky Rangers Dharamshala (SRD), wherein the latter emerged winner.
Batting first, Rajouri Warriors made 146 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in which Pawan Sikho made 34 runs and Nikhil Thakur contributed 33 runs. From the bowling side, Love Singh took 3 wickets, while Deepak and Himanshu took one wicket each.
In reply, SRD chased the target for the loss of 2 wickets in 13 overs and registered 8 wickets win over their opponents. Ravi Kant made 82 runs off 41 balls, Vijay Thakur scored unbeaten 29 runs and Mohit contributed 17 runs. Ravi Kant was declared as man of the match.
