JAMMU, Mar 31: A colourful event ‘Inter College Cultural Mela’ was organized by Ranjit College of Education, Rakh Bandhuwala, Kunjwani, here today.
Over 80 students of different Colleges of Jammu province participated in the event. Apart from Director, Colleges Development Council, Jai Kumar Sharma who was the chief guest on the occasion, Dr.Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary JKAACL, S.Ranjit Singh, Sdn. Ranjit Kour and Baljinder Kour also graced the occasion with their presence.
Director CDC in his address emphasized the importance of such events and lauded the role of the staff and management of Ranjit College of Education for their efforts in making the event most successful.
Dr A S Amn in his speech exhibited his pleasure for demonstrating different cultures and performing skits against social evils.
Er. Manmeet Singh,Chairman Ranjit College of Education while thanking the guests viewed that apart from academics such activities refresh our minds and directs the behaviour of the youth towards socially desirable goals.
On the basis of performance, students of Ranjit College of Education were adjudged first followed by MIER College of Education who stood second and Bhartiya College of Education, Udhampur got third rank, whereas Khalsa College of Education got fourth rank. Supreet Kour and Paramdeep Kour conducted the proceedings of the event..
