RCC thrashes Baloria XI to enter finals

JAMMU, July 30: RCC sailed into finals of Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Premier League by defeating Baloria XI by 14 runs in the 2nd semi-final match played today.
Batting first, RCC scored a total of 122 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing all wickets. Puneet scored 28 runs for the team while Vijay Dogra and Bansi Lal also contributed 26 and 25 runs, respectively to the total. For Baloria XI, both Paras and Vishawjeet took two wickets each while Deepak, Rahil and Satish also bagged one wicket each.
In reply, Baloria XI failed to chase the target and could score only 108 runs in stipulated 20 overs by losing eight wickets. Thus, RCC won the match by 14 runs and entered into finals where they will lock horns with KCCC tomorrow. Shubhum made 21 runs while Manish and Paras scored 20 runs each for the team. For RCC, Kuldeep and Dilbag claimed 2 wickets each while Kulwinder, Vijay, Sourav and Bansi Lal also scalped one wicket each. Puneet Kumar was declared as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires while Vinod acted as scorer.
