JAMMU, July 7: Rainawari Cricket Club (RCC) registered 3 wickets win over Vijanta Cricket Club (VCC) and sailed into the next stage of the ongoing Jammu Tawi Summer T-20 Premier League, being organized by Jammu Tawi Sports Club, at GGM Science College hostel ground, here today.
Batting first, VCC scored 128 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. Sandeep was the top scorer with 38 runs and remained not out, while Vipan and Manik scored 25 and 22 runs respectively.
From RCC side, Parven Singh was pick of the bowler with 3 wickets, while Kuldeep Kumar and Rahul scalped one wicket each.
In the second inning, RCC chased the target by losing 7 wickets in 19.5 overs. Ahmer chipped in 29 runs and remained not out, while Kuldeep and Rahul made 21 and 17 runs respectively.
From VCC side, Sonu scalped 3 wickets, while Jagjit took one wicket.
Kuldeep Kumar was adjudged as Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Sadiq Hussain Malik and Madan Lal as umpires, while Vinod Kandyara maintained the scorecard.
