RCC Billawar crushes Royal CC by 170 runs

KATHUA, May 15: RCC Billawar thrashed Royal Cricket Club by a huge margin of 170 runs in the ongoing District Level Tournament of Kathua District, under the aegis of Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Police Lines ground, here today.
The Tournament is being organised under the patronage of Justice CK Prasad, Administrator JKCA; under the Chairmanship of Syed Ashiq Hussain Bukhari, CEO JKCA and under the overall supervision Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal, Member Judicial State Human Rights Commission and Member JKCA.
Earlier, batting first, RCC Billawar scored a good total of 235 runs in 29 overs. Shekhar top scored with 43 off 37 balls, while Sunny Singh contributed 41 off 24 balls. From Royal Cricket Club, Sonu and Rajesh bagged 3 wickets each.
In reply, Royal Cricket Club bundled out for 65 runs in 18.4 overs, thus lost the match by a huge margin of 170 runs. Naresh was the only batsman to cross double figure mark, scoring 17 runs off 47 balls. Bhanu was the wrecker-in-chief from RCC Billawar, who took 5 important wickets by conceding just 7 runs, while Madhav claimed 2 wickets by giving away 10 runs. Bhanu was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant bowling show.
The match was officiated by Jatinder Singh and Sourav Sharma as umpires.
