JAMMU, Dec 2: Inspector Rashid Ahmed Choudhary International qualified FIE “B” Referee in Fencing from Jammu and Kashmir Police has been nominated as Referee for 13th South Asian Games (SAG) being held at Kathmandu in Nepal.
It is pertinent to mentioned here that Rashid Ahmed is former Member of Jammu and Kashmir State Sports Council, member Khelo India TSC, the only qualified referee of sabre fencing in India and also reciepient of prestigious State Sports Award, Sher-e-Kashmir sports Award, besides havin the distinction of receiving Director General of Police Medal for outstanding contribution in the field of sports.
