JAMMU, Jan 14: In a simple function, MLC Bikram Randhawa flagged off two Strngth Lifters of Jammu and Kashmir for their participation in the 7th International Strength Lifting Championship to be held at Nagpur in Maharashtra from January 17 to 20.
Secretary BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal, Subash Chander was also present on the occasion.
The duo of Zahib-ul-Hussan and Rakesh Kumar have been selected to represent India in this Championship.
Zahib will participate in 65 kg Class, while Rakesh will take part in 76 kg Class.
The selection of the duo has been made on their performances in the Senior National Strength Lifting Championship held in 2018.
