UDHAMPUR, Oct 2: To give fillip to sports and games in Ramnagar and adjoining areas, the sports enthusiasts of the area held a meeting, under the chairmanship of Subash Kudyar and framed Ramnagar Sports Association, here today.
The members unanimously decided that the association will leave no stone unturned in helping the youth not to derail from the mainstream and shun evils like smoking, drinking and tobacco chewing by involving more and more youth in sports and allied activities.
The Association decided to organize tournaments in the disciplines of Kabaddi, Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Hockey, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Wrestling, besides organizing yoga camps.
The office bearers of the Association include Vinod Khajuria, president, Surinder Kudyar, vice president, Rameshwar Kudyar, vice president, Sham Kumar Kharka president players Association, Sagar Dev Singh, general secretary, Subash Kudyar, chairman , Sanjiv Jandial, vice chairman , Mohd Maqbool, chairman veteran players Association, Rakesh Gupta, vice chairman veteran players Association and Mohd Tahir, organising secretary.
