SAMBA, July 28: Outplaying Samba Zone in the final, Ramgarh Zone lifted the title trophy of the District Level Inter-Zonal Super Seven Cricket Championship, organized by District Youth Services and Sports Office, Samba at Sports Stadium, here today.
The Tournament was held under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar, DYSSO Samba.
Five teams drawn from various zones of the district participated in the Tournament. The participating zones included Purmandal, Vijaypur, Samba, Ramgarh and Ghagwal.
Earlier, in the final, Ramgarh zone winning the toss and electing to bat first scored 70 runs in the stipulated 6 overs.
In reply, Samba zone manged to score 60 runs in 5.5 overs, thus lost the match by 10 runs.
