JAMMU, Apr 5: Mega Sports IFBB Body Building Championship recognized by IFBB “International Federation of Bodybuilding & Fitness” was held at Jammu named as “Iron Rush Classique 2016 at Iron Rush Gym & Spa.
The event was sponsored by Sindh TMT Bars, Red Bull, J&K Bank, J&K Tourism, The Yellow Chilli, Vodafone, Katyyani Boutique, Modern Group of Colleges & Media Partners JK Channel, JK Newspoint, Digital Partners JK Digital Media, Gulistan News, AB24 News and Jammu Links.
The event commenced with the lightning of traditional lamp by chief guest, Kavinder Gupta, Speaker J&K Legislative Assembly alongwith guest of honour, Ishant Gupta, District president BJP Youth and Bharat Sharma, State vice president BJP youth.
The event was organized in various weight categories and the the categories were inaugurated by special guest, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Jammu and Member Rahil Gupta.
Sanjay More, General Secretary of Asian Federation of Body Building & Fitness was present on the occasion.
The whole event was adjudicated by Sunil Walia; president Chandigarh Amateur Body Building Association and vice president of IBBFF.
All the guests were welcomed by FC Bhagat, chief patron of Iron Rush Association.
Kavinder Gupta lavished praise on the organizers and distributed prizes among the winners on the occasion. He highlighted the importance of Body Building in the modern era.
Rohit Verma, Managing Director, Iron Rush also spoke on the occasion.
