JAMMU, June 6: Son of Soil Ram Paul Kapoor (Retired J&K Officer) added another feather to his cap by winning gold medal in Noida city half Marathon, held on May 25.
Ram Paul participated in the 10.5 kilometre run in 50 plus category and won gold with a clocked timing of 51.26 minute.
At the age of 66, he achieved this milestone and this was his 31st podium medal. He also created history for the Union Territory where grandfather and granddaughter ran in the event together.
BR Chandan (Chairman), Abdul Quiyum (President) and Tarseem Lal Basotra (General Secretary) of J&K Masters Athletic Association congratulated him for his great achievement.
