JAMMU, Dec 3: Rajesh Gill, former Ranji player, Apex Council member of JKCA and mentor of J&K Physically Challenged cricket team today flagged off J&K cricket team of specially abled for the participation of National championship which is scheduled to be held at Bhiwani (Haryana) on the occasion of World Disabled Day.
The team was flagged off by Rajesh Gill in the presence of Aditya Bakshi, MD of Roma Enterprises, Tarun Bali and Gurdeep Singh.
During the flag off ceremony, uniforms and bags were also distributed among the players through Rajesh Gill and Aditya Bakshi. The uniform for the J&K team was sponsored by the Roma enterprises whereas the bags were sponsored by Janta Sports.
Rajesh Gill advised the players to play as a cohesive unit, motivate each other during the match and try to play for the victory. He also guided the players and discussed various aspects of different cricket strategies for displaying great performance in the national level matches. He conveyed his best wishes to the team for the successful performance in the championship.
He also thanked Sanjeev Mahajan Sports Advisor of J&K PCCA, Aditya Bakshi MD Roma enterprises and Janta Sports for helping and supporting J&K specially abled players regularly.
Aditya Bakshi also spoke on the occasion and assured all support to cricketers in their future cricket events.
