JAMMU, Nov 25: Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2021–said to be India’s first retro racing event aimed at building accessible entry into track racing for new entrants as well as experienced racers, is all set to start.
Eighteen of the fastest riders have been chosen to compete in the highly-anticipated first edition, recently.
The Royal Enfield Continental GT Cup 2021 is part of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship (JK-NRC).
One on the finalist Raivat Dhar from Jammu showed he was not going to be left behind on the track and is eager to put on a great show for the final races.
A graduate student turned into a motorcycle racer Raivat Dhar said, “I never expected that I would be able to make it to the last 18.
The 22-year-old is training hard to make his dream come true.
Along with the final grid of 18 riders, there will be two Media Wild card entrants. The qualifying rounds indicate that it will be a close contest and some nail-biting racing action is on the cards.
