UDHAMPUR, Oct 8: Lions Club Udhampur in collaboration with DIET Udhampur organised a Quiz Competition on Social Science and General Knowledge at AOC Higher Secondary School, Dhar Road, here.
Various Government and Private Institutions drawn from Udhampur town and adjoining areas participated in the event.
The first prize was bagged by Hardik and Abhijeet of BBSVP, the second prize went to Kapil and Deepak of AOC Hr Secondary School and the 3rd prize was claimed by Anuj Abrol and Raman Kumar of Govt City High School Udhampur.
Principal DIET Udhampur, Tarsem Lal was the chief guest on the occasion, while Shwetima Jamwal, Radio Jockey was the guest of honour and star attraction.
Prizes were distributed among the winners by the chief guest and the guest of honour.
The Lions Club members present on the occasion were Ashok Sachdeva (President), Rajeshwar Gupta (General Secretary), Vinod Gupta, Treasurer, DD Sharma, Upkar Jamwal, Rakesh Gupta, Rajesh Malguria, Arvind Gupta and Prun Sawroop.
On the occasion, chief guest lauded the efforts of the organisers for holding the event in a befitting manner.
