Punjab Wrestler Bhupinder wins Nagrota Dangal title

KATRA,  Oct 21: Wrestler Bhupinder clinched 22nd Annual Nagrota Kesari Vishal Dangal title by defeating Wrestler Benia Min of Basantgarh Udhampur in a very tough fight.
The Dangal was organized in Village Nagrota by Nagrota Dangal Committee in association with J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association.
The Vishal Dangal was organized under the  supervision of Madan Lal Sharma, Sahil Sharma and Numberdar Kulwant Singh.
In all, 63 bouts were played in the one day long Dangal and Rs 5,10,000 has been incurred for the conduct of this mega event. Ex. MLA Devinder Singh Rana contributed Rs 1 lakh as financial assistance for conduct of this event.
Former Joint Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma was the chief guest on the occasion who  distributed cash prizes among the winners and runner-up Wrestlers.
BJP Leader Sarpanch Rajinder Singh, Sarpanch Kishore Kumar Sharma, SHO Nagrota Shoket and Naresh Kumar (Pappu Lakri) were the guests of honour.
The first malli bout (1st Malli)  winner Bhupinder of Ajnala (Punjab) was cash awarded with Rs 41,000 by Shiv Kumar Sharma, Madan Lal Sharma and Numberdar Kulwant Singh while runners-up Wrestler Benia Min was cash awarded with Rs 30,000 by Naresh Kumar (Pappu lakri), Ram Paul Sharma and Sahil Sharma.
