JAMMU, May 27: Minister of State for Education, Technical Education, Culture, Horticulture, Floriculture and Parks, Priya Sethi released the 17th Edition of School Magazine ‘Sahitya Sarita’ in an impressive and well attended function at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Mubarak Mandi, here today.
During the function, Mrs Sethi was accompanied by MLA Jammu East, Rajesh Gupta and Director School Education Jammu, Ravinder Singh.
Earlier, the function began with the lighting of the traditional lamp by the chief guest and other dignitaries, which was followed by Saraswati Vandana presented by the students.
The students of the institution presented a variety of cultural items which enthralled the audience on the occasion.
Earlier, School Principal, Neelam Gandotra presented welcome address and read out the annual progrees report of the Institution during the year 2016-17.
The vote of thanks was presented by Sarvadaman Kumar, Senior Lecturer in History presented vote of thanks.
