SAMBA, Dec 1: Mount Litera Zee School, Tarore a CBSE affiliated and ISA Awarded School today celebrated its third Annual Day amidst great zest and vibrancy in school premises with the Theme “Sankalp”.
Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor, JMC was the chief guest on the occasion while Adv.Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor, JMC and Randeep Kumar , SSP, CID Jammu presided over the function while Jaswinder Sethi , RSD (North) Zee Learn, Sheikh Altaf Hussain, Advocate, Gurvinder Singh, Chartered Accountant, KCS Mehta, Principal Army Public School, Akhnoor, Dr. JP Singh Senior Surgeon, Swami Prakashanand Ji, Dr.Kunal Anand Principal DPS, Gopal Khajuria ZEO Vijaypur, Deep Kumar JKAS, District Social Welfare Officer, Ajay Sharma District Information Officer and Suminder Singh MD IDPS were the guests of honour on the occasion.
Also present on the occasion were Dr. A.K.Kapoor, Chairman MLZS Tarore and Mrs. P.B.Kapoor, Managing Director MLZS.
The function started with the presentation by the school Rock Band minstrels of Melody rendering soulful medley of songs through instruments showcasing their talent. Ritesh Kapoor, Director of the School presented the formal welcome address while Dr.Rahul Kapoor, Principal of the school presented the School Annual Report.
The school presented the Ballad on the theme “Legends of India”-the theme which depicts the hard work, efforts and sacrifices put up by the legends of our country in the form of musical bonanza of foot tapping performances.The hard work and the toil of the art and Craft Department, reflected vividly through the 3D movable props displayed on stage.
Chief guest Chander Mohan in his address appreciated the role of the management for providing State of art infra-structure and best faculty by providing quality education for the overall growth and development of the students. He lauded the efforts of the teachers for putting up the excellent show. He also emphasized that children should be taught how to think instead of what to think to become a successful nation builders.
Adv Purnima Sharma in her address emphasized that children need role models and are good observers. It’s up to the elders to be careful of their conduct. “We need to address their emotional needs as well in order to make them strong enough to face the world”.
Randeep Kumar congratulated the school management and staff for the amazing show presented by the students.
Ms. Gayika coordinator of the School presented the formal vote of thanks.
