Principal PTS Kathua inaugurates U-19 Girls Cricket Tourney

KATHUA, Sept 25: The Inter-Division Under-19 Girls Cricket Tournament, being organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, got underway at Sports Stadium, here today.
Principal Police Training School (PTS), Kathua, RK Bhat was the chief guest who inaugurated the tournament in an impressive and well attended opening ceremony. DySP KR Tripathi, Inspector Anil Sagar and chairman Rainbow Higher Secondary School, Kathua, Kapil Sharma were present on the occasion.
The tournament is being held under the overall supervision of SK Chalotra, District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Kathua.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Kashmir Division scored 80 runs, with Sheikh Nayeem top scoring with 28 runs. For Jammu Dision Muskaan scalped 3 wickets, while Heena and Priya bagged one wicket each.
