NBF T20 2020-21 Friendship Cup

JAMMU, Nov 15: Press Club Jammu outplayed AMCO Cricket Club Bishnah on the ongoing ‘NBF T20 2020-21 Friendship Cup’, being organised by Nirbhay Bharat Foundation at JKCA ground, GGM Science College here today.
The match was organized under the chairmanship of social worker and Founder of Nirbhay Bharat Foundation, Tarun Uppal.
In today’s match, SHO Nowabad Inspector Deepak Jasrotia was the chief guest while Gulshan Rathan, founder SCAF was the guest of honour. Zorawar Singh Jamwal, Chairman Team Jammu was also present on the occasion.
After winning the toss, the Captain of Press Club-XI Jammu decided to bowl first.
Batting first, AMCO Cricket Club scored 149 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Sidd played a splendid inning of 58 runs while Sahil scored 49 runs and Arun chipped in 24 runs.
From Press Club-XI side, Dinesh Mahajan, Tejas and Patel took 1 wicket each.
In reply, Press Club-XI chased the target and won the match against AMCO Cricket Club Blue. Raghav made magnificent 65 runs off 36 balls, while Mohit scored 31 runs, Rupesh made 16 runs and Jugal chipped in 15 runs.
From AMCO Club side, Sahil and Kaka took 2 wickets each.
Tarun Uppal said that the purpose of organizing this tournament is to provide a better platform to the youth so that they can stay away from drugs and participate in sports vigorously. He said that this tournament is an attempt to connect the society.
