JAMMU, Aug 25: Presentation Convent Senior Secondary School organised Inter-School Folk Dance Competition ‘Umang’, under the banner of Sahodaya Schools, Jammu Chapter, here today.
Twenty two schools drawn from across Jammu region participated in this prestigious Dance Festival.
Principal, Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu was the chief guest on the occasion, while Pt Narayan Parsad Sharma, Arti Mahajan and Tania Anand Beri were the adjudicators of the event.
The first prize was bagged by Presentation Convent, while Jodhamal Public School, APS Kaluchak, APS Damana and Air Force School Jammu Cantt bagged the other positions respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof Kour lauded the efforts of the school for providing platform to young talent.
