JAMMU, May 26: A review meeting regarding arrangements for the upcoming NCC Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC) and Pre-NauSena Camp 2026 was held at Pathankot ahead of the month-long training programme scheduled to be hosted at Partap World School from May 31 to June 30.
During the meeting, Commanding Officer Nishant, along with Principal Subhra Rani and Director Sunny Mahajan of Partap World School, called on ADC Pathankot Arshdeep Singh Lobana, to discuss preparations and logistical arrangements for the smooth conduct of the camps.
The camps will bring together NCC cadets from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Chandigarh for intensive training ahead of the prestigious All India NauSainik Camp (AINSC) 2026. Officials reviewed accommodation facilities, security measures, transport arrangements, training schedules and coordination for various outdoor activities planned during the camp period.
As per the proposed schedule, cadets will undergo naval and military-oriented training, including boat pulling practice at Ranjit Sagar Dam, firing and weapon training at Mamoon Cantonment firing range, drill sessions, physical training, leadership exercises and adventure activities.
Commander Nishant said the camp would serve as an important platform to prepare cadets for national-level NCC events while instilling discipline, confidence and leadership qualities among participants.
Sunny Mahajan reiterated the Institution’s commitment towards supporting youth development and nation-building initiatives through NCC activities. He said the school was making all necessary arrangements to ensure the successful conduct of the camps.
Principal of the School stated that the arrival of cadets from different regions would promote national integration and create a disciplined and inspiring atmosphere on the campus. She added that the institution is fully prepared to provide a safe and productive environment for all cadets and officials attending the training camp.
