Praful of KC Public School emerges highest wicket taker in 60th NSG

JAMMU, Mar 21: Student of class VII-D of KC Public School, Praful Dhar emerged highest wicket-taker in the prestigious All India Level 60th National School Games (NSG) in the discipline of cricket under-14 boys held at Mehboob Nagar in Telangana, recently.
Son of Kirti and Rajesh Dhar, the young off-spinner took 14 wickets in 5 matches he played, while representing Jammu and Kashmir in this Tournament.
J&K reached the quarterfinal and lost to formidable Delhi in the last eight stage in this Tournament. Praful took 5 wickets against Gujarat by conceding 12 runs in his 3 overs and scalped 6 wickets against Karnataka by giving away 8 runs in his 3 overs. He also took one wicket each against Chhattisgarh, Goa and Delhi.
School Principal, Amarendra Kumar Mishra lauded the efforts of the student and his coach, Ravi Sharma for this achievement.
