JAMMU, Nov 27: Jammu Kashmir UT Powerlifting Championship 2023 was held at Raipur Satwari here today. The Powerlifting Championship was organized by the Jammu Kashmir UT Youth Powerlifting Association is associated with Indian Powerlifting Federation where young boys and girls are given ample opportunity to show their skills.
In the Championship, senior and junior athletes performed well in their respective turns and competitions, for which the representatives of Jammu Kashmir UT Youth Powerlifting Association, apart from former Minister Raman Bhalla, were also present to encourage them as chief guest. Jammu Kashmir UT Youth Powerlifting Association through this UT Powerlifting Championship gave young athletes an opportunity to excel in the upcoming sports competitions where they will represent Jammu and Kashmir as well as the country.
In this selection trial, many players displayed good performance and also showed their preparation for the upcoming games. According to the Jammu and Kashmir UT Youth Powerlifting Association, efforts will continue to keep the youth away from drug addiction and for their better future in UT.
