JAMMU, Jan 12: To finalize the Annual Calendar for the year 2019-20, All J&K State Powerlifting Association held a meeting , here today. The meeting was attended by almost all office bearers of the Association including Ajay Sharma, General Secretary; Rahul Sawhney, Senior Vice President; Adil Ashraf Khan and Sanjeev Singh, Joint Secretaries; Vinay Sharma, Media Secretary, Suesh Pal and Deepak Joyti, besides International and National medallists namely Sumit Gupta, Gourav Gupta, Hardeep Singh, Shabeel Ahmed, Jagbir Singh, Amandeep Bassan and Sohan Lal.
After a threadbare discussion, the members decided that J&K State Powerlifting Championship will be held in the month of June 2019 and J&K Bench Press Championship in the month of September 2019.
The Association also inducted two new members in the Association namely Malvi Gupta J&K Women team manager and Vikas Gupta, Joint Secretary Jammu District Powerlifting Association. The members also discussed some important issues regarding Senior National Powerlifting Championship which will be organised by All J&K State Powerlifting Association in the month of October 2019.
