JAMMU, Oct 2: Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College Bishnah organised an online inter-collegiate poster making and essay writing competitions on the theme “Importance of Health and Hygiene during COVID-19 Pandemic”.
In essay writing competition, Zaheen Shokat of Govt PG College for Women Gandhi Nagar clinched first position, Diksha Thakur of GDC Majalta and Monika Drai of GDC Bishnah shared 2nd position while Tania Pangotra of GDC Samba got 3rd position.
In poster making competition, Chanchla Devi from GDC Majalta won 1st position and Mosam Soni from GDC Bishnah clinched 2nd position whereas Mitali Rathore from GGM Science College and Diksha Thakur from GDC Majalta shared 3rd position.
Essay writing competition was judged by Prof Preeti Dogra, Dr Neha Sharma and Dr Deepak Pathania whereas poster making competition was adjudged by Dr Anuradha Pandoh, Principal of the College, Dr Suman Bala and Prof Amit Kumar Sharma.
All the first three winners were awarded with certificates of merit, while rest of the participants were given certificates of appreciation.
